How to enter
The dates of entry are 1st – 17th September 2011.
Entry costs 10,00 euros per person made during these dates. If you want to come along and enter on the day of the walk you can do so from 8.45 onwards and the entry fee is 12,00 euros.
We aim to keep our organisational costs to a minimum covering the costs of advertising, t shirts etc, with corporate sponsorship. Our local townhall are supporting us with marketing and other materials we require. Once all costs have been covered then all monies raised through entry fees, sponsorship and those collected on the day during the event will be divided between our two chosen charities Cancer Research UK and Fundació Oncolliga Girona.
1. You can download your entry form from this website and print it off You must then complete the form with all your details and read and sign out conditions of entry. Please note: entry forms can be downloaded from the box on the left.
2. Once completed and signed go along to “La Caixa” bank and pay your enrty fee into the account that is given on the form. The bank will give you a paying-in receipt which we need a copy of or if you make an online transfer we will need a printout of the transaction as proof of payment.
3. You can then hand in completed entry form and copy of the payment receipt to the Tourist information centre or “Kings Property Management office” in Estartit. You will then be given all relevent information for the day of the walk. Included are the sponsorship forms for you to raise your own personal sponsorship. You can also use justgiving,com.
5. Men and women over the age of 16 (unless under 16's have parental consent) are able to take part in the walk. However, on the day there will be other fund raising events running during the Walk so that the children don’t miss out!
